Constructed urban environments appear at first to be straightforward documentary photographs. The spaces seem navigable and legible, yet subtle structural manipulations prevent the viewer from fully entering or resolving them. What initially reads as a record of a real place gradually reveals itself to be a controlled visual construction. The work examines how easily viewers accept the authority of photographic space.
